Maine’s order of bond questions to be put on November ballot

Maine's secretary of state Matt Dunlap on Wednesday drew the order of bond questions that were approved by the Legislature in the last session to be put on the November ballot. Let's have a quick look at what the referendum ballot will read:

The first question will seek voters' 'yes' or 'no' on whether to they want to ban on the use of bait, dogs or traps to hunt bears, except in cases of protection of property, safety of public, or for research.

On Thursday, the Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center unfolded about five new incidents in which patients have suffered serious injuries or died because of loopholes in care.

Augusta Southern Nationals, the annual drag-race boat tournament, is going to take place from July 18 to 20, 2014, in Augusta. The tournament, which is in its 28th year, is a long awaited one as last year's event was cancelled owing to high water.

The world's richest drag boat race is expected to have 100 boats from different parts of the nation. The event will add around $2 million to the local economy. Dayton Sherrouse, Executive Director of the Augusta Canal Authority, said except 2013, the race has been organized straight for 27 years.
